This role of a PDI Operator is based in our Repairs Centre in Toome. The PDI Operator is responsible for preparing trailers for painting by carrying out full strip-down operations, and for the accurate re-assembly of trailers following paint and refurbishment. The role ensures trailers meet quality, safety, and customer standards prior to final inspection and release.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely strip trailers of components prior to painting, following specification.
- Re-assemble trailers following paint in accordance with manufacturer and company standards.
- Work will include piping and wiring.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
Requirements
- Attention to detail, quality and safety awareness.
- Motivated and willing to learn.
- Experience working in a trailer repair, commercial vehicle, or similar engineering environment is desirable but not essential.
Hours of work
M-T 7am-4pm, Friday 7am-1pm, 40 hours per week.
