This role of a Forklift Operator is based in our factory in Toome. We are seeking reliable and hardworking Forklift Operatives to support our daily operations. This role involves operating forklifts to move, load, and store goods efficiently while maintaining high safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
  • Load and unload goods from lorries and containers
  • Transport materials to designated storage areas
  • Stack and organise pallets in line with warehouse procedures
  • Carry out daily equipment checks and report any faults
  • Assist with stock control and inventory checks
  • Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
  • Report any damage, defects, or safety concerns to management
  • Support general yard and workshop duties as required
  • General housekeeping and maintenance of equipment

Requirements

  • Valid forklift licence (e.g., RTITB or ITSSAR accredited)
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred
  • Good attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong understanding of health and safety practices
  • Attention to detail
