SDC Trailers is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join our production team. The successful candidates will be responsible for fitting axles and land legs to our chassis, working collaboratively with colleagues using hand tools and overhead cranes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble axles and land legs to chassis in accordance with company standards
- Work efficiently as part of a team to meet production targets
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
- Report any damage, defects, or safety concerns to management
- Support general yard and workshop duties as required
- General housekeeping and maintenance of equipment
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar production or assembly role is advantageous, but not essential
- Willingness to learn and participate in full training programs
- Strong teamwork & communication skills
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes
- Ability to operate machinery safely
- Capable of prioritising workload
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong understanding of health and safety practices

Role requires standing for extended periods, lifting items & manual handling.
Hours of work
Day Shift Monday to Thursday 6:00am to 16:30pm - 40 hrs/week - enjoy your Fridays off (with overtime available if you want it).
Rate: £13.00 per hour + efficiency bonus
