Due to ill health, a new opportunity has arisen for a Class 1 Driver to join our family-run Wastepaper recycling business based in North Manchester.
The role involves:
- No nights out
- No long-distance driving
- No weekend working
The role will require daily customer interaction; therefore, experience of customer service is also essential for the perfect candidate.
Hours: Monday - Friday: 06:00 - 17:00
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Providing a courteous and efficient collection/exchange service to our customers and ensuring that you act as an ambassador for the company in everything you do.
- Collections of paper, cardboards, confidential waste, and occasional plastics.
- Driving a hook lift wagon & drag (Scania/Volvo). Please note you may occasionally be required to drive other vehicles in our fleet.
- Ensuring your safety, the safety of our customers, and the safe operation of company vehicles at all times.
- Exchanging skips at Customer Sites.
- Observing all current legislation.
Qualifications and Skills (Required):
- Class 1 Licence.
- Experience of driving a Class 1 wagon and drag vehicle preferred.
- Proven record of being punctual & reliable.
- An ability to organise and prioritise.
- Current & up to date Driver CPC Qualification.
- Fork Lift Truck Experience (Current FLT Qualification preferred).
