Role Overview

The Contracts Manager will lead, motivate, and manage a team of Sealant Applicators to ensure the successful delivery of residential and commercial contracts across the Midlands. You will be responsible for operational performance, labour coordination, customer satisfaction, and ensuring all projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This is a hands‑on, field‑based leadership role requiring strong organisational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple live projects simultaneously.

Hours of Work

Permanent position with regular travel to sites across the region. Remote working when not on site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Production Oversight — Oversee regional production, programming, and daily workflow planning.
  • Team Leadership — Lead, support, and manage onsite labour to ensure productivity and quality.
  • Contract Delivery — Ensure all contracts are completed efficiently, cost‑effectively, and in line with company standards.
  • Health & Safety Compliance — Uphold and enforce company H&S policies, RAMS, and site‑specific requirements.
  • Client Relationship Management — Maintain strong customer relationships and deliver excellent service.
  • Project Surveying — Survey new projects and provide accurate, detailed information for pricing and planning.
  • Pre‑Let Meetings — Attend pre‑let and coordination meetings with clients and contractors.
  • Administration & Reporting — Maintain accurate administrative records, schedules, and documentation.
  • Material & Stock Control — Monitor material usage and complete stock reporting.
  • Fleet & Equipment Standards — Check and report on vehicle standards and ensure compliance.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in construction operations, site management, or contract management.
  • Strong leadership and people‑management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer‑facing ability.
  • Ability to plan, prioritise, and manage multiple projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction H&S requirements.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Competitive salary (dependent on experience), 28 days annual leave (inclusive of UK Bank Holidays), company vehicle, laptop.
