We are hiring an AI-native Amazon E-Commerce Manager to run and grow an online e-tailer business, which sells primarily through Amazon. This is a hands-on commercial role for someone who understands Amazon marketplace management, e-commerce analytics, PPC, competitor research, listing optimisation, and AI-enabled workflows. The business is one of four subsidiaries within our wider group. If successful, there is scope to take on broader responsibility across the organisation, including involvement in additional subsidiaries. Location Remote, UK-based. We are looking for someone able to work largely within UK business hours.
Employment Type
We are open to full-time, part-time, or fractional arrangements for the right candidate.
Compensation
Base fixed compensation depending on experience and time commitment, plus performance-based upside tied to agreed growth and profitability targets.
The Role
You will take ownership of the performance and growth of our Amazon-focused gardening seeds business. You will be responsible for understanding how the business is performing, identifying growth opportunities, optimising Amazon listings and PPC campaigns, monitoring competitors, improving reporting, and using AI tools and automations to make the business run more efficiently. We are especially interested in someone who is genuinely AI-native: not just someone who has tried ChatGPT, but someone who actively uses AI tools, agents, automations, dashboards, and data workflows to improve speed, analysis, and execution.
Responsibilities
- Manage and improve Amazon marketplace performance.
- Analyse sales, profitability, traffic, conversion rates, PPC, keyword rankings, inventory, and customer behaviour.
- Optimise product listings, including titles, bullets, images, descriptions, A+ content, keywords, and backend search terms.
- Manage and improve Amazon PPC campaigns, including Sponsored Products and other relevant ad formats.
- Monitor competitors, pricing, promotions, rankings, reviews, messaging, and product positioning.
- Use AI tools to support competitor analysis, review analysis, reporting, keyword research, marketing ideas, and workflow automation.
- Build or improve dashboards and regular business performance reporting.
- Identify opportunities for new products, seed bundles, seasonal promotions, pricing tests, and growth experiments.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freelancers, designers, agencies, or internal team members where needed.
- Help create simple SOPs and systems so the business can scale efficiently.
Ideal Candidate
You should have:
- Experience managing or growing an Amazon or e-commerce business.
- Strong analytical ability and comfort working with business performance data.
- Practical experience with Amazon Seller Central and/or Amazon Ads.
- A good understanding of PPC, marketplace SEO, conversion optimisation, and profitability.
- Genuine day-to-day use of AI tools in business workflows.
- A commercial mindset — you understand revenue, margin, ROAS, ACOS, conversion rate, stock, and profit.
- Strong written communication skills.
- A proactive, organised, owner-like approach.
Useful Experience
Experience with any of the following would be helpful:
- Amazon Seller Central
- Amazon Ads / PPC
- Experience with Amazon/e-commerce tools such as Seller Central, Amazon Ads, Keepa, Helium 10, Jungle Scout, Sellerboard, or similar is useful.
- Strong spreadsheet and analytics skills using Google Sheets and/or Excel are important.
- Experience with AI, automation, and reporting tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Zapier, Make, Airtable, Notion, Looker Studio, or similar would be highly valued.
