To further strengthen our F1 Aerodynamics Department, we are seeking an experienced CFD Methodology Engineer to join our team in Maranello (Italy).

As a member of the Aerodynamics Department, you will be responsible for the development and optimization of advanced CFD workflows, with a focus on simulating aerodynamics, multi-physics, and thermal management for our Formula 1 car. You will deliver innovative, high-impact solutions tailored for production-level applications, ensuring efficiency, robustness and precision at every stage.
Your duties will involve building and enhancing automated workflows, maintaining top-level coding standards and creating reusable solutions.

Required Profile

To succeed in this challenging position, you will have a strong background in aerodynamics and CFD, gained within a Formula One environment. An excellent degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or equivalent is mandatory.

Proficiency in advanced CFD methodologies, including optimization techniques, turbulence modeling and data visualization, is essential. Expertise in CAD automation, ANSA, ANSYS Fluent will be key to streamlining simulations.
Strong programming skills in Python and C++ for automation and algorithm development are required. You will be expected to maintain a strong awareness of technology trends and progress in your area of responsibility, demonstrating a proactive attitude towards continual improvements and innovation.
