About The Role
We\’re looking for a confident and commercially minded leader to manage our Bookings Department, helping to drive our business forward by:
- Leading and developing a high-performing customer-facing team.
- Delivering a seamless multi-channel enquiries and inbound sales service.
- Creating a culture of exceptional service provision where client feedback is sought.
- Managing departmental operations and financial performance.
- Supporting strategic planning and deputising for the Commercial Manager.
What you\’ll be doing
We\’re seeking an experienced manager, ideally from the visitor attraction, hospitality, leisure or travel sectors, with a strong background in inbound sales, customer service, team leadership and commercial operations.
You\’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Bookings Department, ensuring it is resourced and organised to meet fluctuating demand and deliver exceptional service. You\’ll oversee financial operations including billing, reconciliation and credit control, and ensure accurate record keeping across all channels.
You\’ll lead on departmental standards and policies, ensuring consistency and professionalism in every customer interaction. You\’ll also play a key role in staff development, identifying training needs and supporting team growth. Working closely with the Commercial Manager, you\’ll contribute to strategic planning and represent the department across the business.
What comes with the package
- You will work five days out of seven, including a weekend day and some bank holidays. Working hours vary according to business needs and are flexible.
- Competitive pay package: salary £35,750 – £39,750 (dependent on relevant skills and experience) + bonus scheme up to £5,750 per annum.
