We’re looking for a strategic and commercially astute leader to head up our Bookings Department, oversee all our sales channels, and drive business growth by:
- Developing strategies to realise commercial opportunities.
- Identifying, analysing and securing new areas of business.
- Developing product offerings with associated pricing models.
- Overseeing departmental resource planning, leading initiatives to improve financial performance.
- Overseeing the operational performance of the Bookings Department to ensure excellent service delivery.
What you\’ll be doing
We’re seeking an experienced commercial manager, ideally from the visitor attraction, hospitality, leisure or travel sectors, with a strong background in relevant areas such as key account management, sales and marketing, business development, operational management, commercial product development and management, and stakeholder engagement.
You’ll oversee the Company’s different sales channels, developing a deep understanding of our brand, markets, customers, product portfolio and competitive landscape. You’ll lead on acquisition, activation, retention and referral strategies, and manage key customer accounts to build long-term relationships.
You’ll co-ordinate the review, development and implementation of product offerings, pricing models and marketing activity, ensuring alignment with business goals. You’ll also lead on customer feedback strategy, using insights to improve service and experience.
Working closely with senior management, you’ll contribute to strategic planning, risk management and cross-departmental projects. You’ll oversee and support the Bookings Manager in operational delivery and ensure departmental compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
What’s the package?
- You’ll work five days out of seven, including a weekend day and some bank holidays. Working hours vary according to business needs and are flexible.
- Permanent Contract
- Competitive pay package: salary £39,750 – £47,750 (dependent on relevant skills and experience) + bonus scheme of up to £6,750 per annum.
