Are you already working within AML, CDD, KYC or legal risk and compliance and looking to build on that experience within an international law firm?
I'm recruiting a Compliance Analyst to join an established Risk & Compliance function on a six-month fixed-term contract. This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on new business intake, client due diligence and financial crime compliance.
You'll be carrying out CDD across a varied client base, reviewing and analysing documentation, completing client risk assessments and undertaking PEP, sanctions and adverse-media screening. You'll also work closely with stakeholders across the firm, responding to CDD queries and supporting the wider team with conflicts, ongoing monitoring and file audits.
What you'll be doing:
- CDD across individuals, companies and trusts
- Client risk assessments at onboarding and review stage
- PEP, sanctions and adverse-media screening
- Research using AML and corporate information databases
- Reviewing CDD documentation and identifying additional information required
- Responding to AML and CDD queries from across the firm
- Supporting conflicts searches and file audits
- Ongoing client monitoring and compliance administration
What I'm looking for:
You'll already have experience within AML, CDD, KYC, client onboarding or a similar compliance role. Previous legal-sector experience would be useful, although I'm also interested in relevant transferable experience.
You might currently be a Compliance Assistant looking for your next step, or already working at Analyst level and looking for a strong contract opportunity.
Experience of World-Check, Elite or similar AML/compliance databases would be advantageous, alongside strong research, analytical and IT skills.
Hybrid working is available following the initial induction period, with three days per week in the London office.
