Location: Hybrid / London, UK Hours: Full-time Permanent Position (9am-5pm) JOB TITLE: Digital Transformation Consultant REPORT TO: Senior member of Department SALARY: GBP 50,000-65,000 (based on experience) BENEFITS: Allowances, bonuses and pension contributions, etc LANGUAGE: Native/Business-level fluency in Japanese & English ELIGIBILITY: Must be eligible to work in the UK 1. About the Role We are looking for a strategic, bilingual Digital Transformation Consultant (Japanese/English) to join our growing team at SCSK {digital}. This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated professional with strong consulting experience and a passion for driving digital innovation across global markets. In the mid-term , you’ll focus on: Analysing client operations in both Europe and Japan Creating transformation roadmaps aligned with business goals Selecting and evaluating technology solutions Leading PoC initiatives Acting as the key liaison between clients and technology providers Looking ahead, this role will evolve into broader consulting and business development engagements across sectors such as energy, automotive, infrastructure, food, agriculture, minerals, and oil & gas . What You’ll Do Consulting & Transformation: Collaborate with clients in Europe and Japan to assess business needs, challenges, and opportunities for growth. Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes, operations, and systems within the client\’s market to identify areas for transformation and innovation. Undertake targeted market research and assessments to support strategic insights. Deliver compelling value propositions and transformation roadmaps to C-level stakeholders. Work closely with cross-functional internal and external teams to design innovative, business-driven solutions. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by offering strategic guidance, thought leadership, and insights on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. Own and champion the digital customer experience, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user expectations. Provide clear vision and direction to Agile delivery teams, fostering effective collaboration and execution. Oversee end-to-end documentation to ensure smooth handovers and continuity between strategy and delivery. Ensure final solutions are aligned with strategic business goals and deliver exceptional customer and business value. Business Development & Thought Leadership: Contribute to the growth and development of the SCSK {digital} consulting practice through thought leadership and development of go-to-market Strategies. Contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the team. Stay informed on emerging technologies, sharing insights that shape internal capabilities and client conversations. Managing own workload and being able to identify when appropriate to escalate issues to management 3. What We’re Looking For Required: Native or business-level proficiency in Japanese and English (spoken and written) Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science , or a related field Minimum of 5 years of consulting experience , ideally with a focus on: Digital strategy, transformation, or change management Data platforms, AI, or enterprise solutions Proven success in delivering strategic and digital initiatives Ability to synthesize complex challenges into clear solutions Strong communication skills, especially when engaging with senior stakeholders A client-first mindset with experience managing executive relationships Eligible to work in the UK.
