We are looking to recruit a Customer Accounts and Banking Finance Team Leader to join our Finance Team. This is an exciting role in the business and will give the successful candidate the opportunity to learn and achieve personal growth within a fast paced business.
What's the opportunity?
The Team Leader will be responsible for:
- Allocating work within the team
- Review of the output of their work
- Managing the review of the debtors ledgers of a number of stores
- Regular reporting to the Financial Controller and Finance Director
- Completion of tasks such as management of day to day Finance House activities
The role is based within the Finance team and will involve liaising with other departments within the company including Retail and Distribution. The role is not customer facing and will not involve direct contact with customers.
What does the role involve?
- Oversight of the team responsible for the daily review of the customer debtors ledgers for all stores (payments and invoicing)
- Review of the output the team’s work, including review of the proposed adjustments required to individual accounts
- Managing the review of the ledgers of a number of stores directly
- Provide cover in performing ledger reviews during team member annual leave
- Liaising directly with retail and distribution colleagues to assist in the performance of duties
- Regular reporting to the Financial Controller and Finance Director
- Management of day to day Finance House activities, including management of rate cards and remittance reconciliations
- Support in review of customer refund activity
- Support the wider finance team with ad-hoc duties as required
- Maintain accurate and organised financial records and documentation
