What does the role involve?
- Delivering and installing furniture in customers’ homes
- Working through a delivery schedule with the support of your crew mate
- Working as part of a wider distribution centre team helping to load and unload furniture onto our vehicles
- Providing a brilliant service to our customers and encouraging their feedback
- Carrying out safety checks and driving safely to protect the team and customers
- Working 44 hours over 4 days with every Sunday off; flexibility required in peak periods
- Heavy lifting
Who are we looking for?
- Previous experience within a driving role
- Category C1 vehicle licence
- Driver digital tachograph card
- Relevant drivers CPC qualification (certificate of professional competence)
- Knowledge and understanding of safety requirements for operating a vehicle and familiarity with tacographs
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow process and procedures
- Strives to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction
- Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling due to heavy lifting
- Hard working and a team player
- Experience in a warehouse environment (desirable)
