What’s the opportunity?

If you’re all about making the people around you smile and delivering a great service for customers then you could be the perfect fit for us. All you need in order to apply is a Category C1 licence, a driver digital tachograph card and the relevant drivers CPC qualification (certificate of professional competence). We’ll sort the rest! Previous furniture delivery experience can be a benefit, but we find personality and the ability to learn new skills more important.

Responsibilities

• Delivering and installing furniture in customers’ homes.
• Working through a delivery schedule with the support of your crew mate.
• Work as part of a wider distribution centre team in helping to load and unload furniture onto our vehicles.
• Providing a brilliant service to our customers and encouraging their feedback.
• Making sure the team is safe by carrying out checks and driving safely.
• Work 44 hours over 4 days with every Sunday off. Flexibility would be required in peak periods.
• Heavy lifting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a driving role.
• Category C1 vehicle licence.
• Driver digital tachograph card.
• Relevant drivers CPC qualification (certificate of professional competence).
• Knowledge and understanding of safety requirements of operating a vehicle and familiarity with the use and regulation of tachographs.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow process and procedures.
• Strives to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction.
• Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling as this role involves heavy lifting.
• Hard working.
• Team player.
• Experience in a warehouse environment (desirable).
