All you need in order to apply is a Category C1 vehicle licence, a driver digital tachograph card and the relevant drivers CPC qualification (certificate of professional competence). We’ll sort the rest! Previous furniture delivery experience can be a benefit, but we find personality and the ability to learn new skills more important. What does the role involve? Delivering and installing furniture in customers’ homes Working through a delivery schedule with the support of your crew mate Work as part of a wider distribution centre team in helping to load and unload furniture onto our vehicles Providing a brilliant service to our customers and encouraging their feedback Making sure the team is safe by carrying out checks and driving safely Work 44 hours over 4 days with every Sunday off. Flexibility would be required in peak periods Heavy lifting Who are we looking for? Previous experience within a driving role Category C1 vehicle licence Driver digital tachograph card Relevant drivers CPC qualification (certificate of professional competence) Knowledge and understanding of safety requirements of operating a vehicle and is familiar with the use and regulation of tacographs Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to follow process and procedures Strives to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling as this role involves heavy lifting Hard working Team player Experience in a warehouse environment (desirable) What’s in it for you?
