Support the Health & Safety team in administering project management processes on the Main Works Contract for the HS2 London Tunnels Contract, delivered by Skanska, Costain and STRABAG.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the online H&S reporting database(s) and produce reports to HS2 and the two Principal Contractors.
  • Set up and manage the induction process using the Contract Passport system, Training and Close Call/Inspection databases.
  • Construct, collate and maintain the SHE training matrix for the site.
  • Run, export and analyse reports as required.
  • Transfer data into Excel to create graphs, charts and dashboards.
  • Maintain the accident, incident and observation registers.
  • Keep induction, training records and close call records current and accurate.
  • Maintain other files or records as deemed necessary by the H&S Team.
  • Act as the focal point for the occupational health provider and liaise with the contract accountants.
  • Organise random drug & alcohol tests for site and office staff through the Contract Occupational Health provider.
  • Perform any other administrative duties assigned by the H&S Manager.
  • Ensure that client and joint‐venture partners' environmental, sustainability and statutory requirements are implemented as required.

Qualifications

  • Experience using databases.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and general IT.
  • Strong MS Excel skills.
  • Good telephone manner and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Meeting of the minimum job criteria and person specification for the role.
