The predicted salary is between 45000 - 55000 £ per year.
Reporting to the Utilities Sub-Agent responsible for the utility packages (Gas main diversion works, multi utility diversions, Surveys, etc)
- Role Responsibility
- Day to day work site coordination and planning to ensure the works are carried out safely and efficiently.
- Working with the subcontractor to ensure the timely preparation Risk Assessment Method Statements, Inspection and Test Plans, Permits, Consents etc for the works and that these are implemented.
- Ensuring Permit to Dig, Temporary Works, other permits and other safety systems are implemented.
- Liaison with the Section Foreman to ensure the adherence to safe methods of work.
Attend the daily coordination meetings with other engineers and the foreman to plan the next day’s work.
- Ensuring all temporary works needs are identified sufficiently early and completed in accordance with the relevant procedures.
- Ensuring all quality checks are carried out in accordance with the ITP’s and properly recorded. Including reviewing subcontractor check sheets and liaising with the SCS QA team.
- The management of non-conformance reporting and managing the non-conformance on site until complete.
- Provide support and assistance and information to other teams as necessary such as Community Relations, Highways, Logistics.
- Tracking and monitoring of subcontractor progress against their baseline productivity
- Work with other site and section engineers to ensure the site works progress smoothly, safely and as planned.

- Degree or equivalent in civil / Environmental engineering or similar
- Prior experience in Civil engineering / Infrastructure projects
