Overview
The U&A Compliance Coordinator reports directly to the U&A Compliance Manager, supporting the coordination, submission and completion of Commitments Compliance Plans (CCP) and other information required to fulfil SCS\’s obligations under the Undertakings and Assurances within the High Speed Rail Act 2017. The role will work within the Consents & Engagement Service core team but operate across three distinct delivery areas in separate geographic locations, supporting the U&A Area Coordinators to ensure U&As are understood and managed with consistency, and to help the project deliver its contractual obligations efficiently and cost-effectively. Role Responsibility
- Supporting the U&A Compliance Manager and U&A Area Coordinators in ensuring the area delivery and/or service teams understand the U&A obligations for their scope of works
- Support the delivery teams in developing and maintaining up-to-date Commitments Compliance Plans across the project, and managing the overall Commitments Register / Compliance Plan baseline on a day to day basis
- Ensuring accurate and timely updates to the Client\’s U&A management system and submission of evidence on the Client\’s document management system.
- Attend and minute monthly review meetings with the Client, cascading Client feedback across the teams to resolve any outstanding matters.
- Producing reports which periodically record the progress on the discharge or handover of the commitments, including submission of supporting evidence, as well as any non-compliances or \’near misses\’
- Support the U&A Compliance Manager in carrying out internal audits on U&A compliance
- Support the U&A Compliance Manager, U&A Area Coordinators, area delivery teams and service function teams in investigating and collating evidence for any non-compliance with U&As, and supporting the completion of Lessons Learned activities
- Liaison with the Client and their other Contractors to develop a consistent approach to managing the submission, updating and approval of the CCP baseline and supporting documentation
