The successful candidate will coordinate, manage and facilitate the planning and delivery of project information, including the suite of Information Deliverables throughout all phases of the Main Works Civils Contract (MWCC) for Lots S1 & S2 of the HS2 Project. The role reports to the Lead Project Information Manager. Flexible working is available; applicants may request part‑time, remote or compressed hours during the interview process.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all project deliverables and configuration information are identified and included in the Master Information Deliverables Plan (MIDP).
- Liaise with Work Package Managers, Design Managers and the Assurance team to plan, monitor and deliver information deliverables.
- Collaborate with Project Controls to support reporting of deliverables and key performance indicators.
- Coordinate with content owners to include all deliverables for the next programme measurement period on the MIDP and identify any missing items.
- Publish the MIDP in line with project events to reflect the ongoing development of the planned deliverables.
- Arrange and facilitate regular MIDP content‑development and progress meetings for work packages.
- Develop and maintain processes and procedures to support the management of the MIDP.
- Assist project teams to comply with MIDP processes and procedures.
- Participate in and comply with project team management procedures and processes, including performance management, change management, and attendance at project and design team meetings as required.
- Agree and implement record‑keeping, archiving and audit trail for the Information Model in accordance with organisational procedures.
Essential Skills
- Previous experience of managing project deliverables using document management systems, project plans and deliverables lists on infrastructure projects.
- Understanding of BIM and Asset Information Management Systems.
- Experience working in a multi‑disciplinary/complex project environment.
- Experience using document management systems.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and/or databases for managing records and information.
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Credibility in building relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and flexibility.
Desirable Skills
- Experience of information management on rail projects.
