Key Responsibilities:

• The successful candidate will be joining an enthusiastic and energetic team combining their accounting experience with a fresh and innovative approach utilising cloud accounting software.
• The role will be to undertake and review accounts preparation work as directed and help to support in managing client relationships to deliver outstanding client service.
• Preparation of management accounts and financial forecasts.
• Assistance with tax compliance work.
• Assisting client managers with portfolio management.
• Supporting clients with transitions to cloud accounting.
• Prepare management and year-end accounts, as well as tax computations and supporting schedules.
• Develop strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of client care and adherence to deadlines.
• Prepare and deliver accurate client outputs within agreed timeframes and budgets.
• Support and mentor junior team members, acting as a buddy and sharing knowledge.
• Demonstrate a proactive approach to business development and identifying client opportunities.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:

• Full or part qualified (ACCA, ICAEW or equivalent).
• Strong technical groundings across accounts and tax.
• Proficient with accounting and tax systems.
• Commercially minded with clear understanding of client business contexts.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
• A collaborative team player who supports, mentors, and learns from others.
