We are searching high and low for our next Product Designer to join our world-class team.

Our mission is to design, build, deploy and maintain innovative custom software that allows our clients to start, run and grow world-class businesses with globally distributed teams based in Johannesburg, London, Nairobi and Cape Town.

Responsibilities

  1. Work together with product management and engineering to build innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.
  2. Participate in all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
  3. Develop original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design roadblocks.
  4. Prepare wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
  5. Discuss designs and key milestone deliverables with peers and executive level stakeholders.
  6. Perform user research and evaluate user feedback.
  7. Set design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
  8. Stay up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
  9. The production of high-fidelity prototypes.
  10. Gathering and evaluating user requirements, in collaboration with our Product and Engineering teams, including the adjustment of specs and deliverables to meet product requirements and limitations.
  11. Working with the Product, Engineering, and Project Management teams to bring new product features to life.
  12. Working as a UX Researcher and utilise a variety of testing techniques to inform and validate the direction of your design.
  13. Keep abreast of competitors’ products and industry trends.
