We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support and enhance a Risk Reporting platform. This role involves translating business requirements into technical specifications, managing delivery through Agile practices, and ensuring strong alignment between business needs and technology solutions. The role requires high autonomy, strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to manage complex requirements in a dynamic delivery environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and enhancement of risk reporting solutions.
- Translate business requirements into clear, structured technical specifications.
- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring effective prioritisation.
- Define and validate acceptance criteria to ensure high‑quality delivery.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including engineering, QA, and operations.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
- Ensure adherence to Service Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
- Act as a key interface between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Support decision‑making through analysis, insights, and strategic thinking.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to team capability development.
Skills & Experience
Essential Skills
- Strong experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Excellent strategic thinking and planning capabilities.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Proven expertise in stakeholder management and communication.
- Experience in process modelling techniques (e.g., BPMN, UML).
- Ability to define clear and testable acceptance criteria.
Technical Knowledge
- Good understanding of web development and hosting environments.
- Familiarity with the Service Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Strong ability to bridge business requirements with technical implementation.
