Job Description \n We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Developer to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot, strong architectural knowledge, and proven experience leading development teams in delivering large-scale digital solutions. \n As a technical leader, you will drive engineering best practices, mentor developers, contribute to strategic technology decisions, and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. \n Key Responsibilities \n Technical Leadership \n \n Lead the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-grade Back End applications using Java (8/11/17+) and Spring Boot. \n Define and drive technical architecture, coding standards, and development best practices. \n Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality, maintainable, and secure code. \n Collaborate with Solution Architects and Engineering Managers on technology roadmaps and architectural decisions. \n \n Application Development \n \n Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices-based solutions. \n Ensure compliance with security, performance, and reliability requirements. \n \n Architecture & Design \n \n Participate in system architecture, technical design discussions, and solution planning. \n Identify and mitigate technical risks and performance bottlenecks. \n Ensure scalability, maintainability, and extensibility of software solutions. \n \n DevOps & Delivery \n \n Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes. \n Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement containerized and cloud-based solutions. \n Participate in release planning, production deployments, and incident management. \n \n Stakeholder Collaboration \n \n Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, QA, and DevOps teams. \n \n Required Skills & Qualifications \n Technical Skills \n \n 8+ years of hands-on software development experience with Java. \n Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot frameworks. \n Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP. \n Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar. \n Deep understanding of application security, authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices. \n Experience with performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting distributed systems. \n Strong knowledge of Git, branching strategies, and Agile/Scrum methodologies. \n \n Leadership Experience \n \n Proven experience leading development teams and delivering complex enterprise projects. \n Experience managing technical deliverables, estimations, and development planning. \n \n Preferred Qualifications \n \n Experience working within regulated, standards-driven, or public sector environments (eg, GDS-aligned projects). \n Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, or Splunk. \n Relevant Java, AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, or architecture certifications. \n Strong collaboration and team-building mindset. \n \n Nice to Have \n \n Experience in digital transformation programs. \n Knowledge of AI-assisted develop
