Responsibilities Work with business stakeholders to understand and clarify MI, reporting and analytical requirements, including underlying business questions and desired outcomes Investigate existing reports, dashboards, datasets and data processes to understand current capabilities, data sources and reporting gaps Analyse data using SQL and other analytical techniques to identify data quality issues, discrepancies, trends, anomalies and gaps Define and document KPIs, metrics, business definitions, calculation logic, rules, assumptions and data requirements Investigate discrepancies between Legacy systems, datasets and reports, working with technical teams to identify root causes and agree remediation Translate business and analytical needs into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and reporting or dashboard specifications Identify where required data is available, partially available or unavailable, and define the requirements needed to address any gaps Collaborate with MI Developers, Data Analysts, Data Engineers and Architects to refine requirements and validate analytical solutions Produce clear documentation, including business requirements, metric definitions, data mappings, investigation findings, data quality assessments and recommendations This role requires a strong combination of business analysis, data investigation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical data solutions., Security Clearance: Active SC clearance is mandatory for this role Business Analysis: Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Data Business Analyst or MI Business Analyst Data
