Analyst<\/b>, you will be responsible for developing robust data collection processes, analysing complex datasets, building insightful dashboards, and ensuring data is secure, reliable, and suitable for strategic decision -making.<\/p>Working within a multidisciplinary Agile team, you will collaborate with product managers, delivery teams, and data specialists to establish best practices for data governance, reporting, and continuous improvement.<\/p>This role requires someone who can transform complex and unstructured data into meaningful insights that support business decisions and service improvements.<\/p>Key Responsibilities<\/h1>Data Collection & Management<\/h2>Design and implement robust data collection processes and standards.<\/li>Establish secure methods for collecting, storing, and maintaining organisational data.<\/li>Define data lifecycle management processes, including collection frequency, validation, and maintenance.<\/li>Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance throughout the data lifecycle.<\/li>Identify and utilise existing data sources where appropriate to minimise duplication.<\/li><\/ul>Data Analysis & Insights<\/h2>Analyse structured and unstructured datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.<\/li>Produce actionable insights that support strategic decision -making.<\/li>Prepare data suitable for reporting, governance, and external publication.<\/li>Support evidence -based recommendations through high -quality data analysis.<\/li><\/ul>Dashboard Development & Reporting<\/h2>Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards using Microsoft Power BI.<\/li>Develop visualisations that clearly communicate key performance indicators and business insights.<\/li>Monitor dashboard performance and continuously improve reporting capabilities.<\/li>Produce regular reports for stakeholders and senior leadership.<\/li><\/ul>Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement<\/h2>Work closely with multidisciplinary Agile delivery experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist within complex organisations.<\/li>Strong experience building and maintaining Power BI dashboards.<\/li>Experience designing secure and scalable data collection processes.<\/li>Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex and unstructured datasets.<\/li>Experience in data governance, quality assurance, and lifecycle management.<\/li>Strong SQL skills for querying and analysing data.<\/li>Experience working with large datasets from multiple sources.<\/li>Ability to communicate complex analytical findings clearly to diverse audiences.<\/li>Experience working within Agile multidisciplinary delivery teams.<\/li>Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.<\/li>Experience using data to support operational and strategic decision -making.<\/li><\/ul>Desirable Skills & Experience<\/h1>Experience working within UK Central Government or public sector organisations.<\/li>Knowledge of Government Digital and Data Profession (GDaD) capability frameworks.<\/li>Experience working with government data standards and governance frameworks.<\/li>Familiarity with product analytics and service performance measurement.<\/li>Experience supporting continuous improvement through data -driven insights.<\/li>Knowledge of data security and information governance best practices.<\/li><\/ul>Qualifications<\/h1>Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).<\/li>Relevant Microsoft certifications in Power BI, Azure Data, or Data Analytics are desirable.<\/li><\/ul>Security Requirements<\/h1>BPSS Security Clearance (or higher).<\/li>Ability to
