Role Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Graduate Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team in Newcastle. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is passionate about recruitment, communication, and helping people find the right roles.
As a Graduate Recruiter, you will support the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing candidates to coordinating interviews, managing candidate communication, and helping deliver an outstanding candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in end-to-end recruitment for a variety of roles across the organization.
- Source and screen candidates through job boards, social media, LinkedIn, and referrals.
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and maintain excellent communication with candidates.
- Manage applicant tracking systems (ATS) and keep candidate records up to date.
- Write and post engaging job adverts.
- Support talent pipeline building for specialist digital and tech roles.
- Conduct initial phone/video screenings.
- Help organize recruitment events, job fairs, and campus outreach activities.
- Contribute to diversity & inclusion initiatives and help ensure fair hiring practices.
- Provide general support to the Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers.
What We’re Looking For
- A recent graduate (any discipline welcome) or up to 1–2 years of experience in recruitment, HR, or a people-focused role.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proactive, enthusiastic, and eager to learn.
- Ability to build rapport with candidates and stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office and familiarity with LinkedIn is a bonus.
