At AttiFin AI, we are transforming financial operations through intelligent automation and advanced analytics with a team that truly loves the challenge. We build scalable, secure AI solutions that help organisations streamline processes, sharpen decision-making, and unlock new efficiencies.

The Role

We are looking for a Business Analyst who thrives in a start-up environment and can operate with a high degree of autonomy. This is not a back-office reporting role — you will be embedded across the business, shaping our understanding of the market, supporting live pilots with clients, and helping translate complex legal workflows into product and commercial opportunities.

You will work closely with product, engineering, sales, and leadership to ensure that what we build is grounded in real market needs and delivers clear value to legal professionals. The ideal candidate brings a blend of analytical rigour, commercial awareness, and genuine curiosity about both AI and the legal sector.

What You’ll Do

  • You will continuously monitor the legal AI landscape, tracking competitors, emerging trends, regulatory shifts, and evolving buyer expectations. You will synthesise this into clear, actionable insight that informs product direction and go-to-market strategy.
  • You will play a hands-on role in supporting pilot programmes with clients — from scoping and setup through to tracking outcomes and gathering feedback.
  • You will act as a connective thread across the team, working with product managers, engineers, designers, and commercial leads to ensure alignment.
  • You will own your workstream end to end, identifying what needs doing, structuring your own approach, and delivering without needing to be managed closely.

What We’re Looking For

  • Demonstrable experience as a Business Analyst, or similar role, ideally within a start-up or high-growth environment.
  • Strong research and analytical skills — you can take ambiguous questions, structure an approach, and deliver clear findings.
  • Experience developing value propositions, business cases, or commercial collateral.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams, communicating effectively with both.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a genuine ability to work autonomously.
  • A keen interest in AI, technology, and how it’s reshaping industries.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Highly Desirable

  • Legal experience — whether that’s a law degree, paralegal experience, time spent at a law firm, or experience in legal tech.
  • Experience supporting or managing pilot programmes, proof-of-concept projects, or early-stage client engagements.
  • Familiarity with the legal technology market and its key players.

What We Offer

  • The opportunity to shape a product and company from an early stage.
  • A collaborative, low-ego team where your contributions are visible and valued.
  • Exposure to cutting-edge AI technology and the legal industry.
  • Autonomy and ownership over your work.

Diversity & Inclusion

At AttiFin, we are committed to building a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace where everyone feels valued and empowered to contribute. We believe that diverse perspectives drive better outcomes, and we actively encourage applications from individuals of all backgrounds, experiences, and identities.
