Role Summary<\/h3>We are seeking an experienced Embedded DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and deployment solutions for embedded and edge computing platforms. The role focuses on accelerating software delivery, improving system reliability, enabling secure device management, and supporting large -scale deployment of embedded applications across distributed environments.<\/p>Key Responsibilities<\/h2>DevOps & CI/CD<\/h3>Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for embedded software and edge applications.<\/li>Automate build, test, packaging, and deployment processes.<\/li>Establish and maintain software versioning, release management, and artifact repositories.<\/li>Improve build efficiency, deployment reliability, and development productivity.<\/li><\/ul>Embedded Platform & Device Management<\/h3>Support development and deployment of embedded Linux -based systems.<\/li>Manage device provisioning, configuration, software updates, and lifecycle management.<\/li>Implement secure remote deployment and rollback mechanisms.<\/li>Support fleet -wide software rollout strategies and operational monitoring.<\/li><\/ul>Test Automation & Quality<\/h3>Develop and integrate automated testing frameworks including unit, integration, system, and hardware -in -the -loop (HIL) testing.<\/li>Integrate quality gates and automated validation into CI/CD workflows.<\/li>Monitor and improve software quality, test coverage, and deployment success rates.<\/li><\/ul>Infrastructure & Reliability<\/h3>Manage build infrastructure, development environments, and deployment platforms.<\/li>Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management solutions.<\/li>Monitor system performance, availability, and operational health.<\/li>Troubleshoot build, deployment, and runtime issues across environments.<\/li><\/ul>Security & Compliance<\/h3>Implement secure software delivery practices and DevSecOps controls.<\/li>Support vulnerability management, patching, and software supply chain security.<\/li>Ensure compliance with organizational security and governance requirements.<\/li>Maintain traceability of software artifacts throughout the release lifecycle.<\/li><\/ul>Collaboration<\/h3>Work closely with Embedded Software Engineers, Platform Engineers, QA teams, Security teams, and Product Owners.<\/li>Drive adoption of DevOps best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.<\/li>Contribute to technical standards, documentation, and engineering processes.<\/li><\/ul>Required Skills & Experience<\/h2>Technical Skills<\/h3>Strong experience with Linux -based environments and system administration.<\/li>Hands -on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.<\/li>Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or similar languages.<\/li>Strong knowledge of Git and source control management.<\/li>Experience with Docker and containerized development workflows.<\/li>Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.<\/li><\/ul>Embedded Systems<\/h3>Experience working with embedded Linux platforms and cross -compilation environments.<\/li>Understanding of embedded software development lifecycles.<\/li>Familiarity with device provisioning, firmware/software updates, and deployment strategies.<\/li>Knowledge of hardware -software integration and debugging processes.<\/li><\/ul>Monitoring & Observability<\/h3>Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or OpenTelemetry.<\/li>Ability to analyze system metrics and troubleshoot production issues.<\/li><\/ul>Preferred Qualifications<\/h2>Experience with Yocto, Buildroot, or similar embedded Linux build systems.<\/li>Knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms.<\/li>Experience with edge computing, IoT platforms, or distributed device management.<\/li>Familiarity with secure development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevSecOps practices.<\/li>Experience working in regulated or mission -critical environments.<\/li><\/ul>Our interview process<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>We keep things straightforward.
