We build high-performing, inclusive teams that work on some of the most important digital transformation programmes in the UK. We are proud to be a Disability Confident Committed employer, and we genuinely mean it; diversity, equity, and inclusion are woven into how we work, not bolted on as an afterthought.
The opportunity
Starting your HR career is a big step, and we want to make it a great one. We are looking for a curious, organised, and people-focused HR Associate to join our People & Talent team. This is a hands-on, varied role that will give you real exposure to the full breadth of HR, from onboarding and employee relations to payroll, compliance, and everything in between. If you are passionate about people and eager to grow, this is the role for you.
What you will be doing?
- Supporting the full employee lifecycle — from a new joiner's first day to their last
- Preparing and issuing contracts, offer letters, onboarding packs, and employment documentation
- Keeping employee records accurate, up to date, and GDPR-compliant
- Coordinating induction programmes and onboarding activities for new joiners
- Tracking probation periods, performance reviews, and key HR milestones
- Managing the monthly payroll submission to the Finance team
- Handling employee queries with professionalism and care — being the friendly first point of contact for HR questions
- Supporting absence management, including sick leave and annual leave records
- Helping to organise internal events, training sessions, and engagement activities
- Collaborating with the Talent Acquisition team during busy hiring periods
- Providing general administrative support across the HR function

- A recent graduate (ideally from HR, Psychology or similar preferred, but all disciplines welcome)
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational instincts
- Clear and confident communicator, written and verbal
- Someone who handles confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Any previous exposure to HR, recruitment, or a people-focused role is a welcome plus
What we offer
- Competitive annual salary of £26,500 – £28,000
- A real start to your HR career, structured training and a clear development path within our People & Talent function
- The chance to work on meaningful internal HR projects and process improvements from early on
- A supportive, collaborative team that is invested in your growth
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
- Hybrid working, with flexibility built in and one day a week in our Staines office
