- Deploy and run services on AWS and Azure.
- Review code and designs, and give constructive feedback.
- Provide agile technical leadership: guide the team on technical decisions, mentor developers and help unblock complex problems.
- Investigate and fix defects, and support services in live.

- Proven experience designing and building microservices.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests with JUnit.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines.
- Experience working with AWS and Azure.
- A strong focus on clean, maintainable and secure software.
- Experience contributing to technical design and leading technically within an agile team.
- Strong communication skills, with the confidence to work with technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Experience delivering digital services to the GDS Service Standard.
