The Lead QA Analyst (OAT) plans, coordinates, and leads the execution of Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT) activities to ensure service readiness and operational risk mitigation prior to production release.

Key Responsibilities

  • OAT Planning & Leadership
    • Develop the OAT test plan aligned with the risk profile
    • Define scope covering monitoring, failover, recovery, resilience, and stability
    • Validate OAT entry criteria
    • Coordinate third-party participation
  • OAT Execution Oversight
    • Lead Validation Of Monitoring dashboards and alert triggers
    • Incident routing and escalation paths
    • Backup and restore validation
    • DR failover testing
    • Batch and job restart testing
    • Deployment rollback procedures
    • Stability and soak testing
  • Governance & Reporting
    • Maintain the OAT traceability matrix
    • Escalate risks through defined governance routes
    • Provide a formal OAT completion report
    • Recommend milestone sign-off
  • Collaboration
    • Work closely with DevOps, Infrastructure, Support, and external suppliers
    • Ensure a smooth transition to BAU support teams

Experience Required

  • 7–10 years of QA experience
  • Strong operational testing experience
  • Experience leading test cycles
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Exposure to monitoring tools and environment validation
