Role Overview:

Rate- 350-400 Outside IR 35

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst with a background in the UK public sector to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in transforming complex data into clear insights and actionable dashboards to support public service delivery and strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform decision-making.
• Build and maintain interactive and insightful Power BI dashboards tailored to stakeholder needs.
• Clearly present data findings through visualizations and reports for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with service teams to understand their data requirements and help translate them into effective analytics solutions.
• Ensure alignment with public sector data governance standards and security protocols.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience working as a Data Analyst , preferably within the UK public sector .
• Proven ability to understand, analyse, and present data clearly and accurately.
• Proficiency in Power BI for designing dashboards and data visualizations.
• Excellent knowledge of SQL and data extraction tools.
• Ability to communicate insights effectively to diverse stakeholders.
• Familiarity with government data standards, data protection, and ethical handling of sensitive information.

Desirable:

• Experience working in departments such as DWP, NHS, HMRC, or other UK government bodies.
• Understanding of semantic data models and integration with BI tools.
• Prior involvement in data transformation initiatives or service redesign projects.
