  • About Scrumbles

At Scrumbles, we're on a mission to help pets live happier, healthier lives through gut-friendly nutrition.

We're a fast-growing challenger brand creating natural pet food that pets love and owners trust.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for a creative, organised and social-first Content Marketing Assistant to join our marketing team.

This isn't your typical marketing executive role.

We're looking for someone who's obsessed with social media, chronically online, constantly saving Tik Toks, Instagram Reels and ads, spotting trends before everyone else and thinking, \"We should try that.\"

You’ll play a key role in creating the content that helps grow one of the UK's fastest-growing pet brands.

Working across email, paid and organic social, you’ll create high-performing content, manage our ambassador and influencer programmes, and help shape the creative that reaches millions of pet parents across Meta, Tik Tok and You Tube.

As we continue to expand across Europe, you’ll also own the creation and localisation of content for our European markets.

Working closely with the wider marketing team, you’ll adapt campaigns and messaging for local audiences, ensuring our content feels authentic, relevant and engaging across multiple countries.

If you love filming, editing, testing ideas and turning social trends into content that actually performs, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll own

  • Create a continuous pipeline of engaging short-form content across Meta, Tik Tok and You Tube Shorts - continually producing and testing new hooks, formats, and content angles.
  • Take ideas from concept to camera to finished edit, creating content that feels native to each platform.
  • Film and edit everything from product content and creator collaborations to behind-the-scenes moments, office life and trend-led videos.
  • Turn customer, creator and brand content into high-performing paid social creatives, producing multiple variations ready for testing.
  • Create, adapt and localise content for key European markets while maintaining the Scrumbles tone of voice.
  • Work with translation and localisation partners where needed to ensure content is culturally relevant and accurate.
  • Confidently use tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Cap Cut, Premiere Pro or similar to create scroll-stopping content.
  • Regularly audit competitor ads, social channels and leading DTC brands to identify trends, winning creative formats and new opportunities.
  • Stay on top of platform updates, creator trends and emerging content styles to keep Scrumbles ahead of the curve.
  • Own and grow our ambassador programme, building a passionate community of pet parents who love Scrumbles.
  • Source, onboard and manage influencer and creator collaborations across the UK and European markets.
  • Write clear, inspiring creative briefs that enable creators to produce authentic, high-performing content.
  • Review creator content to ensure it meets campaign objectives, brand guidelines and performance requirements.
  • Build long-term relationships with creators and identify opportunities for repeat partnerships and brand advocacy.
  • Identify new creators and emerging talent that align with the Scrumbles brand and European expansion.
  • Manage and grow our online community by engaging with pet parents and responding to conversations across our social channels.
  • Support the planning, scheduling and execution of organic social content across Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, Linked In and Reddit.
  • Develop and manage our Reddit community, encouraging meaningful discussion and turning customer conversations into future content ideas.
  • Identify opportunities to amplify user-generated content and community stories across our owned channels.
  • Monitor social trends, competitor activity and community insights to inform future content planning.
  • Support the social calendar by identifying key seasonal moments, cultural events and opportunities across both the UK and European markets.
  • Support the upload, organisation and management of new creative assets across advertising platforms, ensuring campaigns are always refreshed with new content.
  • Maintain a well-organised internal library of creative assets, ensuring content is correctly labelled and easily accessible for campaign deployment.
  • Monitor creative performance alongside the Paid Performance Manager, identifying winning concepts and opportunities for iteration.
  • What your week could look like

Monday

Review last week's performance ahead of the marketing meeting, engage with our online community, audit competitor content and identify creative opportunities.

Tuesday

Film and edit new content for Meta, Tik Tok and You Tube Shorts, from product demos and trend-led videos to behind-the-scenes moments with the office dogs.

We'd love to hear from you if...

  • You're fluent in English and also speak either French or German, Dutch language skills would be a strong advantage.
  • You have around 1+ years' experience in content creation, social media or digital marketing.
  • You're constantly saving Tik Toks, Instagram Reels and ads because you love analysing what makes them work.
