About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) with strong hands-on experience in Pega Constellation to join our technology delivery team.

The successful candidate will work on a major UK Government programme, designing and delivering scalable Pega solutions within an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and implement enterprise-grade Pega applications.
  • Work extensively with Pega Constellation architecture and UI capabilities.
  • Translate business and functional requirements into scalable Pega solutions.
  • Develop and configure Pega workflows, case types, data models and business rules.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Architects and development teams.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to other Pega developers.
  • Participate in solution design, code reviews and technical discussions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex Pega application issues.
  • Ensure solutions follow Pega best practices and architectural standards.
  • Work with APIs and external system integrations where required.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives.
  • Contribute to technical documentation and continuous improvement activities.
  • Strong commercial experience with Pega development.
  • Proven hands-on experience with Pega Constellation.
  • Strong understanding of Pega case management, workflows and data modelling.
  • Experience developing applications using modern Pega architecture.
  • Experience with integrations and APIs such as REST/SOAP.
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Experience with Pega Cloud.
  • Experience with Constellation migration or modernisation projects.
  • Experience with enterprise-scale Pega implementations.
  • Experience working with distributed development teams.
