About The Role

You\’ll work alongside experienced professionals in our branches, learning the skills needed to assess hearing, fit hearing aids, and provide outstanding care to our customers. Our structured apprenticeship combines academic study with real-world clinical practice, preparing you for a meaningful and long-term career in audiology.
Responsibilities
- Support the branch team in providing exceptional hearing care services
- Assist in conducting hearing assessments and fittings under supervision
- Learn how to advise customers on hearing aid options and usage
- Maintain accurate patient records in line with clinical and GDPR guidelines
- Attend university study blocks as part of the Foundation Degree programme
- Work collaboratively with branch staff and customers to deliver high-quality care
- Uphold Scrivens’ values of integrity, compassion, and professionalism in all interactions
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for individuals who have achieved a minimum of five GCSEs at grade C/4 or above, including Maths, English, and Science. A genuine passion for healthcare and a desire to improve people’s quality of life is essential for this role.
You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with customers from all walks of life. A willingness to travel for university study blocks and between local branch locations is required.
We value a proactive, responsible, and team-oriented attitude, and we are seeking candidates who are motivated to learn and grow within our organisation. You must be eligible to study a Foundation Degree in the UK and able to work full-time. Most importantly, we are looking for individuals who are committed to completing the full duration of the apprenticeship programme and pursuing a long-term career in hearing care.
