We are supporting a well-established Telford Service Centre that calibrates and maintains precision mechanical and dimensional measuring equipment used across manufacturing, aerospace, automotive and engineering environments.
What you will be working with:
- Micrometers
- Verniers & calipers
- Dial & height gauges
- Torque wrenches & torque tools
- Pressure & displacement instruments
- Dimensional and mechanical fixtures
What you will be doing:
- Calibrating, validating and verifying instruments to ISO 17025 standards
- Carrying out technical fault-finding, adjustments and repairs
- Completing calibration certificates, traceability records and reports
- Working to defined calibration procedures and quality standards
- Communicating with customers and internal teams on calibration status
What we are looking for:
- You will come from a mechanical, dimensional or torque calibration background, such as:
- UKAS / ISO17025 calibration laboratory (highly desirable)
- Aerospace or automotive metrology
- Manufacturing metrology or calibration services
- Service or calibration laboratory
You will be comfortable using precision measurement tools and working in a structured, accuracy-driven environment.
