About the Role
We’re working with a leading broadband provider at the forefront of delivering full fibre connectivity across the UK. As part of their expansion, they’re looking for a skilled Fibre Installation Engineer to join their team and play a key role in connecting communities to high-speed broadband.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a company that’s transforming the way people live, work, and connect. You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality fibre installations, ensuring customers are seamlessly connected to the network, and contributing to the company’s mission of delivering reliable, future-proof broadband.
Key Responsibilities:
Install overhead and underground fibre optic cables, termination boxes, routers, and associated equipment to connect customers to the network.
Complete internal and external cabling works to a high standard, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with the tech team to troubleshoot and resolve issues with customer connections.
Conduct site surveys to identify requirements for tree cutting, traffic management, and other obstacles to successful installations.
Ensure all work is documented accurately, including job sheets, risk assessments, and hazard identification.
Adhere to health and safety standards and comply with all company processes and procedures.
Your Skills and Experience:
SA001 & SA002 qualified (essential).
IPAF, NRSWA, S7/S8 PIA qualifications (desirable).
At least 1 year of experience working on fibre networks.
Proven experience in a customer-facing role.
Knowledge of the Openreach PIA network and fibre installation processes.
