Are you looking to kickstart your engineering career in calibration and test? Want to work with a wide range of electronic and mechanical instruments in a professional service environment? We’re looking for a Junior Calibration Technician to join a well-established service centre in Telford. You’ll gain hands-on experience calibrating a variety of test and measurement tools, while learning from a team of experienced professionals.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Routine calibration, validation, and minor repair of electrical and mechanical tools and test equipment
- Working with instruments such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and torque tools
- Occasionally supporting on-site calibrations at customer locations (less than 25% travel)
- Collaborating with senior engineers in a structured, high-quality environment
- Communicating with internal teams and customers to ensure service standards are met
What We’re Looking For
- 1–2 years’ experience in electronics, calibration, or test engineering
- Familiarity with test and measurement tools (basic troubleshooting skills a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work
- Good communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
- Eligibility for UK Security Clearance
