We’re on the lookout for a motivated Trainee Service Centre Technician to join a leading global organisation at the forefront of electronic measurement innovation. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity. Based at their modern UK HQ, you’ll join a friendly and knowledgeable team working on cutting-edge test and measurement equipment. You’ll receive full training and support to help you grow into a skilled technician. This position is offered as a 12-month contract, with a high likelihood of transitioning into a permanent role thereafter.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Operate and maintain test stations using PC-based software and electronic instrumentation.
- Carry out manual measurements of electronic signals using oscilloscopes and other testing tools.
- Learn to troubleshoot and fault-find on a wide variety of devices.
- Provide updates to customers on service progress and timelines.
- Work collaboratively within a team to meet service quality and turnaround goals.
- Gain exposure to customer-facing field roles as your skills develop.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5 GCSEs (grades A–C), including Maths, English, and ideally Physics.
- A-Level or BTEC qualification in Electronics, Engineering, or similar.
