Overview

We’re going into our third year of building Retail Media at Screwfix, and there’s still so much we’re evolving, building and figuring out.

And now we’re adding two new Retail Media Partnerships Senior Executives to the team.

Hybrid Working

For this role, we’re open to discussing a working pattern that works for you and the team.

You’ll need to be comfortable travelling to our Yeovil, Somerset office on a regular basis, typically weekly or fortnightly, as well as our Paddington, London office.

The exact balance can be discussed as part of the recruitment process.

Key responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of vendors and agency partners, delivering excellent customer service and ensuring agreed media investment, performance, and growth objectives are achieved within agreed timescales.
  • Own the commercial performance of assigned categories and vendor portfolios, developing and executing category-specific retail media plans in partnership with the Retail Media Partnerships Manager to drive revenue growth, retention, and future investment opportunities.
  • Manage and prioritise workload effectively, balancing business priorities, stakeholder requirements, and customer needs to deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Own performance reporting for your vendor portfolio, regularly reviewing delivery against targets, identifying opportunities and risks, and taking proactive action or escalating where appropriate.
  • Identify and develop new retail media opportunities across the business, building business cases and working collaboratively with stakeholders to take initiatives from concept through to successful implementation.
  • Ensure effective management of all campaign and operational processes, maintaining compliance with agreed briefing, planning, scheduling, and delivery standards while seeking opportunities to improve ways of working.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for Retail Media products and capabilities, including sponsored products, display advertising, emerging ad technologies, and new inventory launches, providing guidance and support to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Required Skills & Experience
  • Experience in media planning, campaign management, account management, or retail media, with a proven ability to deliver successful outcomes for customers, clients, or vendors.
  • Good understanding of retail media and digital advertising channels, with the ability to apply this knowledge to support commercial growth, campaign performance, and customer objectives.
  • Strong customer and vendor focus, with a track record of building positive relationships, understanding customer needs, and delivering excellent service that drives retention and repeat investment.
  • Commercially minded with experience of working to sales, revenue, or performance targets, using data and insight to monitor performance and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Experience of using advertising technology (Ad Tech) platforms, with knowledge of retail media platforms such as Citrus Ad or similar solutions being advantageous.
  • Confident in analysing and interpreting performance data, using insights to make recommendations, optimise activity, and support decision-making.
