You're the person who brings our national B2B ambitions to life in real places, with real people. Partnering closely with your Senior Account Manager, you set bold regional goals and craft tender submissions that feel purposeful, not procedural. One moment you're deep in conversation about long-term plans, the next you're reviewing your pipeline and spotting exactly where the next big step-change could come from. And with every visit, call and review, you're strengthening relationships that turn into genuine long-term partnerships.

But the real adventure comes from the chase, the new opportunities waiting just around the corner. You'll knock on doors, pitch clever solutions, negotiate deals that matter and expand the footprint of your region one win at a time. And you'll never be doing it alone; you'll pull in experts from Marketing, Supply Chain, Trade UK and more to build creative answers to customer challenges. With full ownership of your CRM pipeline, regular customer conversations and a front-row seat in shaping regional strategy, you quickly become the go-to problem solver, the person who connects dots and makes things happen. It's a role full of action, autonomy and those brilliant moments where you can see your work turning into real growth, all inside a B2B team that's moving fast and cheering you on as you accelerate your career.

Responsibilities

  • Works closely with Senior Manager, Key Accounts to discuss, review and agree regional priorities and or targets
  • Develop plan to then manage and grow regional accounts to deliver sustainable growth aligned with agreed targets.
  • Lead and support tender activity across strategic national or regional accounts, working with internal teams to coordinate robust, commercially aligned submissions.
  • Build strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers across industries and with internal stakeholder groups.
  • Effectively manage your time to balance engagement, analysis and review of existing and new accounts, driving progress within the key priority areas
  • Support National Account Managers at site level through educational visits and initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with national frameworks and contribute to national objectives locally.
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities within the region.
  • Prospect and engage with potential customers, presenting tailored solutions to engage and realise new business.
  • Negotiate terms for long-term investment plans and project-specific agreements, within agreed framework.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Supply Chain, Trade UK) to deliver customer solutions.
  • Complete a minimum of 3 customer calls per day to drive growth, engage existing and new customers, with 4 days per week field-based
  • Attend internal meetings as required, either in the field or Head Office
  • Escalate and or discuss key challenges and proposed solutions with Senior B2B Manager, as to ensure any key risks/challenges/blockers are managed and resolved
  • Share market insight and good practice with Senior B2B Manager and peers, as to support business growth and continuous improvement

  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.

  • Highly organised with strong time management and prioritisation abilities.
  • Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, field-based environment.
