Are you passionate about retail, creativity, and making things happen on the ground? We are looking for a Local Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic Local Marketing team. In this fast-paced role, you will support the planning and delivery of impactful in-store campaigns, new store openings, and our wider store support programme, helping to bring our brand to life in local communities.
Working closely with internal teams and creative partners, you will play a key part in building campaign content, briefing artwork, managing data, and tracking performance. Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of new store opening programme and our store support programme
- Maintain the data required to deliver each campaign and event. Collaborate and liaise with the other teams to ensure this data is kept up to date
- Deliver effective briefs to the artwork teams to allow the production of the right content and pricing, ensuring local activity is customised
- Take shared responsibility to ensure the artwork is affectively proofed before going to print.
- Support the delivery of marketing plans to support our new store opening programme, including the collaborating with creative and local media
- Measure the success of the activity and monitor if any action is required by working with other teams to ensure regular reporting of store support programme programme, impact of local marketing activity
- Contribute to the wider store team ensuring all colleagues are multiskilled and can adapt to marketing demand
Qualifications
- An understanding of the retail environment and retail operations
- Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise multiple demands
- Strong stakeholder management with the function and beyond, particularly retail
- A good understanding of the local media environment
- Able to identify what needs to be done and doesn’t wait for instruction to make the right thing happen
- Able to engage effectively with peers
- A strong communicator – able to clearly articulate priorities and elevate identified efficiencies
- Not essential, previous experience in retail, marketing or commercial roles would be beneficial
