This is your chance to step up. Supporting the Retail Branch Manager, you’ll make sure our customers are the heart of everything we do. You’re always looking for ways to improve what we do and how we do it, knowing that small differences can make a big impact. With our training programmes and varied shift patterns, you’ll be on the right track for a promising career with us. We offer a healthy work/life balance and encourage part-time applications, with a minimum of 22.5 hours over 3 days.
What’s it like to be an Assistant Manager at Screwfix?
- Store standards – alongside the retail Branch Manager, ensure everything runs smoothly from front of house to the warehouse and keep standards high.
- Inspire your team – lead by example and motivate your team to deliver a great customer experience.
- Store management – budgets, rosters and payroll, P&L analysis, stock management and profit improvement.
