As Assistant Manager, you’ll support the Retail Branch Manager in driving store performance, inspiring your team, and delivering an exceptional experience for every customer. You’ll also have the chance to build visibility and confidence by showcasing your store’s success during regular visits from high-profile visitors. We’re looking for someone who enjoys a dynamic environment, leads by example, and looks for ways to learn and improve. Responsibilities
- Supporting the Branch Manager in day-to-day operations, from front-of-house to warehouse
- Leading and motivating your team to deliver outstanding customer service
- Managing rotas, payroll, budgets, and stock to keep the store running smoothly
- Driving performance and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Representing the store during high-profile visits and showcasing best practice
- Multi-skill between counter, picking, delivery support, and local outreach activities to build trade relationships and community connections
- Be a team player beyond your own store by travelling to neighbouring locations when required, whether through staffing, training, or operational support
