Overview This is a fixed-term contract opportunity up to 9 months. You’ll be at the core of Screwfix, ensuring our customers are the focus of everything we do. You’ll take your time to really get to know them while delivering excellent service. Our Retail Assistants are essential to store operations, so you’ll be busy. Responsibilities WHAT’S IT LIKE TO BE A RETAIL ASSISTANT? Host – welcome customers, understand their needs, guide them to products, and make their shopping experience easy and enjoyable Warehouse standards – assist with deliveries, maintain stock levels, fulfill customer orders, and uphold store standards Part of the team – work collaboratively with colleagues who take pride in their store, and enjoy a positive team environment Qualifications YOU ARE… Excellent at providing great service with a positive, proactive attitude Willing to work hard and engage fully with training A great communicator who enjoys helping people Eager to learn; retail experience is not required Friendly, flexible, reliable, honest, and enthusiastic What’s in it for me?
