About Screenverse
Screenverse is a growing leader in programmatic and Digital Out Of Home media sales. We are a full-service provider of ad management and monetization services for media screen owners. We help our partners optimize revenue while simultaneously enabling brands to reach and connect with their desired audience in the physical world in moments that matter. DOOH media is fast growing and siphoning shares from traditional online advertising.
We’re looking for a collaborative engineer who enjoys building reliable, scalable software that makes a real-world impact. Join our two small and focused engineering teams in transforming Digital Out Of Home, reporting to the Director of Engineering. As a product-focused engineer, you\'ll shape tools that power real-time digital signage across thousands of locations.
Who You Are

  • You succeed in the relative chaos of a small team in an early stage startup, wearing many hats, and always delivering. Someone who creates an actionable plan with well-defined requirements, and then proactively seeks out concerns and blockers as they move to implementation.
  • You’re kind, including when the kind thing to do is giving constructive feedback.
  • You care about your team and you put team progress first. You prioritize unblocking teammates—through pairing, code reviews, and document reviews—over progressing on your own tickets. An organized team player who values knowledge sharing.
  • You’re product-minded, with significant experience building things from scratch, ideally in a startup environment.
  • You’re an excellent communicator, verbally and in writing. Someone who is used to communicating in a frequent and timely manner, choosing the medium by what will best accomplish the goal.
  • You’re either experienced with, or ready to learn, writing Elixir code. Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL and/or statistics is also highly valued. You probably have at least 5 years of professional experience, but we value quality of experience over quantity.
  • You’re comfortable working remotely and communicating asynchronously, with an emphasis on Slack and long-form communication, but able to join meetings between 10am and 1pm ET.
What you’ll be doing
  • Maintaining extensive in-house reporting and inventory management services, requiring significant effort in processing and analyzing data from third party systems.
  • Building out a product suite focused on providing value to supply-side partners, from admin dashboards to an optimizing mediation layer sitting between tens of thousands of screens and multiple ad exchanges.
  • Contributing to our product roadmap, from ideation to independently driving new initiatives. Previous experience of DOOH is ideal, but we’re open to anyone who can get ramped up and dive into the business domain.
  • Providing support and guidance to your team, always looking for opportunities to coach and encourage growth.
Our tech stack
Our main language is Elixir - we believe it combines a high level of productivity with great performance. On top of that, we utilize PostgreSQL and Redis heavily across our applications. Our systems run on AWS and we’ve built out a great CI/CD system on top of Github Actions.
What we offer
  • Fully remote from any location, as long as you can be comfortably available between 10am and 1pm EST.
  • Salary range 120-150K USD.
  • Medical Benefits.
  • Stock options.
  • Flexible PTO.
  • Annual Company Offsite: A dedicated time each year for the full team to connect in person, reflect, collaborate, and have fun together.
  • Summer Fridays: Extra flexibility during the summer months to recharge and enjoy a lighter end-of-week schedule.
Compensation Range: $120K - $150K
