Summary:

The role of the Impact & Evaluation manager will be to ensure evidence of ScreenSkills activities and impact is being collected, analysed, and disseminated, both within and outside of the organisation.

The Impact & Evaluation manager will be responsible for the collection, collation and analysis of the relevant data against a clear impact framework. They will work internally to oversee workflow and processes which ensure evidence is being consistently collected and can be used to effectively communicate ScreenSkills organisational impact.

The Impact & Evaluation manager will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to regularly review the Impact Framework to ensure it is fit for purpose and to evolve it to support ScreenSkills’ strategic purpose and aims.

  • Data collation – The I&E manager will be responsible for gathering the internal data needed for outcome/output and KPI evidence. It will be their role to establish a clear and practical workflow, and to ensure teams are sharing data on a regular basis to build up the evidence base. They will work with the existing Data team to improve data reporting across the organisation and with relevant project leads to ensure they are supported to collect the required information to rigorous quality standards.
  • Methodological design and ownership – the I&E manager should collaborate with internal teams to optimise the current external data collection methods so that they provide evidence of the framework. They will also be responsible for analysing the results and making strategic recommendations based on the insights.
  • Internal stakeholder management – The I&E manager will be responsible for championing and embedding the framework within ScreenSkills. They will foster an evaluation culture within the organisation by supporting teams to implement consistent data collection and utilising internal research to support their projects/programmes.
