The Role
As a BDR, you’ll be the first point of contact for potential customers. You’ll identify, research, and engage with new businesses to create qualified sales opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Prospecting: research and identify potential customers who could benefit from our digital signage platform.
- Outreach: engage with prospects through cold calls, emails and social media to introduce ScreenCloud and set up discovery meetings.
- Qualification: conduct initial conversations to understand a prospect’s needs and determine if they’re a good fit for our solution.
- Pipeline management: log all activities and maintain accurate information in our CRM (HubSpot/Salesforce).
- Collaboration: work closely with our Account Executives to ensure a seamless handover of qualified leads.
- Learning & growth: participate in ongoing training and coaching sessions to improve sales skills and product knowledge.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in sales, customer service or a related field (or a recent college graduate with relevant internships).
- High energy and a resilient attitude—you don’t shy away from a challenge.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A strong desire to learn and grow in a fast‑paced sales environment.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (like Salesforce or HubSpot) is a plus, but not required.
