In the last few years we’ve created iconic brands for new restaurants across Europe with Marriott, sparked a new generation of category-defining pizza in the UK, and partnered with luxury hotels in the US.
We’re looking for a Marketing Account Manager who can bring energy, direction & clarity to help our clients thrive in a fast-paced creative environment. You’ll be the day-to-day lead on some of our most exciting hospitality and lifestyle clients - managing projects from start to finish, building strong, collaborative relationships with the clients & immersing yourself in their brands. You'll work closely with a Marketing Director to turn big-picture thinking into brilliantly executed campaigns, content and creative outputs.
This role is ideal for someone who’s passionate about delivering exceptional client service - combining commercial awareness, hospitality know-how and sharp attention to detail, while never losing sight of the bigger picture.
Responsibilities include:
- Client Management & Delivery
- Be the primary day-to-day contact for your clients, owning communication and keeping everything running smoothly.
- Build genuine relationships based on trust, reliability and value; utilising both virtual and in-person touch points.
- Run meetings with purpose, prepare clear agendas, and follow through on actionable next steps.
- Immerse yourself in client venues and environments where possible to gain a deep understanding of their world.
- Support the Marketing Director on larger multi-disciplinary service clients whilst owning & ensuring success for your own clients.
- Briefing & Internal Coordination
- Represent the ‘voice of the client’ inside the agency—ensuring every brief is aligned with their goals and expectations.
- Write and manage detailed briefs for creative, technical and media teams, ensuring all context and objectives are clear.
- Lead kick-offs, retrospectives and lessons-learned sessions to improve how we work together.
- Coordinate with specialists, flag key decisions, and ensure work is delivered on time, on budget and to a high standard.
- Maintain clear labelling and filing systems for all client-facing and internal documents.
- Project & Campaign Execution
- Own the delivery of client retainers and projects from end to end - ensuring smooth workflows, schedules and quality outcomes.
- Collaborate with the Studio Manager to schedule work, book in specialists, and keep everything running to plan.
- Track project progress, prevent scope creep, and raise any risks before they become problems.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding of client accounts with precision and care.
- Champion Ignite’s internal processes - helping teams follow best practice and work efficiently.
- Client Growth & Strategic Support
- Work closely with your Marketing Director to turn strategy into action and help deliver long-term client success & growth (both performance and financial-focused).
- Translate strategic plans into actionable deliverables and timelines.
- Support in preparing reports & proactive decks to demonstrate success & drive account growth.
- Revenue & Financial Oversight
- Define and scope new client work - ensuring clarity around objectives, budgets and timelines.
- Track and manage project budgets, working with the MD and Ops team to balance profitability and client value.
- Spot upsell opportunities and play a key role in growing accounts sustainably, with support from your MD.
- Secure approvals on scopes, costs and deliverables, and monitor profitability throughout.
- Account Ownership & Commercial Accountability
- Bring energy & excitement to the account! Own the day-to-day success of your client accounts, holding a full 360° view of their needs, challenges and growth potential.
- Be proactive in identifying and resolving obstacles, internally and externally.
- Be the quality gatekeeper—ensuring every piece of work meets both Ignite’s standards and the client’s expectations.
- Lead and support internal teams, providing the information and clarity they need to deliver their best work.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 3+ years of account management experience, ideally in a creative, social or digital agency.
- Are highly organised with experience with project management.
- Love working with food, drink and hospitality brands.
- Are a confident communicator who can juggle multiple priorities.
- Understand how to balance creative energy with commercial awareness.
- Take pride in delivering great work - and in helping teams come together to make it happen.
- Are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and staying calm under pressure.
