Role Description

The role
This is a senior, site-based role for an experienced screeder who remains hands-on on the tools and is capable of leading site teams to deliver work safely, efficiently, and to a high technical standard. You will run jobs day to day on site, taking ownership of quality and delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Hands-on installation of screed systems on live construction sites
- Leading and organising site teams and operatives
- Setting up works correctly and maintaining quality throughout delivery
- Ensuring works comply with approved specifications, systems, and method statements
- Identifying and resolving site issues early, escalating where required
- Coordinating with the office and other trades as necessary
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and workmanship
Essential experience & requirements
- A minimum of 10 years’ hands-on screeding experience
- Proven experience installing screed personally (not supervisory only)
- Strong technical understanding of screed systems, substrates, preparation, curing, and quality standards
- Experience leading others on site
- Ability to read and work to technical specifications and method statements
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Good spoken English for site coordination, safety, and site management
